Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts has been so humbled by her New York theater debut, she feels like a young wannabe actress again.
The 38-year-old beauty has returned to acting after a two-year hiatus to raise young twins Phinnaeus Walter and Hazel Patricia.
She is currently starring in previews of Joe Mantello‘s production of Three Days of Rain at Broadway’s Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, which opens next week.
Roberts tells the New York Post, “I go home to my husband (Daniel Moder) every night and I tell him that I have so much work to do.
“I love being an actor, but sometimes doing this I feel as though I’ve gone back to square one.
“I come off stage and I feel like I’ve just been in a Fellini movie. It feels like we all have on crazy hats.”
