Justin Bieber‘s wife forced him to shave off the mustache that left his fans divided.
The pop star dabbled with a little facial hair at the beginning of 2020 but agreed to be cleaner when Hailey Bieber told her man she’d had enough.
The couple took to Instagram Live together on Sunday (April 5, 2020) to link up with pals like Kendall Jenner and Kehlani and during their candid virtual chat, the Baby singer revealed he’d still have the mustache if it was up to him.
“Hailey was gonna freaking kill me,” he said. “I wasn’t gonna be able to sleep in the bed. So, I had to shave it.”
During the Instagram Live session, Justin asked his wife what she liked most about her husband, prompting the 23-year-old model to chime back, “My favorite thing about being married to you is that you are very considerate of people. You make sure to put other people first. You’re a very good listener. And you really encourage me to do what I’m good at and what I love.”
Hailey also revealed she is enjoying self-isolation with her husband after initially fearing the lockdown would lead to anxiety issues.
“It’s really shown me that the simplicity in life and kind of dialing everything back has made me so happy,” she shared. “I’ve been happier than I felt in months, just from being able to be low-key and just hang – and not have things on a schedule. I feel really reconnected with myself and that’s unexpectedly made me really happy…
“I swear I feel like I’ve gotten so much more done in this quarantine than I have in, like, a year.”
