After pleading no contest to four counts of lewd conduct last month, R&B superstar K-Ci (Cedric Hailey) was sentenced to two years’ probation on Friday. K-Ci, half of the smooth sibling duo K-Ci and JoJo, was accused of baring his genitalia while performing the aptly titled song Jingle Ball at a December concert in Los Angeles.
“It was regrettable. It’s one of those things where he didn’t realize there would be so many young people out in the audience. Even then, it would’ve been going too far,” said K-Ci’s lawyer, Kenneth Markman to reporters. K-Ci was also ordered to pay $910 in fines by Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Kristi Lousteau.
