It’s been a rocky few months for Kanye West, and after his recent hospitalization for exhaustion and a reported mental break, we thought we would be seeing a lot less of the rapper for awhile. However, last week he was seen out and about at a furniture show with a new look, and this morning, West arrived at Trump Tower in NYC to meet with President-elect Donald Trump.

We’re not sure what is happening here, but in a concert last month, West did famously rant that if he would have voted, it would have been for Trump. Considering Trump’s racist, misogynist, and overall disgusting treatment toward, women, minorities, people of color (and everyone else that isn’t his “friend”), Kanye fans and many in the Black community were horrified by Ye’s comment. Still, since his hospitalization, many assumed it had to do with his mental break.
Unfortunately, it looks like Kanye West fans and opponents of Trump were very wrong. No one knows why West and Trump are meeting, but last month, according to TMZ, Trump did say about Kanye, “You know what? I will never say bad about him, you know why? Because he loves Trump!… He goes around saying Trump is my all-time hero. So, Kanye West, I love him … Now, maybe in a few years I will have to run against him, I don’t know. So I’ll take that back.” If you recall at last year’s MTV VMA’s West said he would run for President in 2020.
UGH!!!!
We don’t think any of this is helping the reported strain between West and his wife, Kim Kardashian who is still recovering from being robbed at gunpoint in Paris earlier this fall. We just don’t know what to think anymore.
