Kanye West’s much-anticipated Jesus Is King album set to rise this week

Kanye West has finally announced a release date for his much-anticipated Jesus Is King album.

The project will drop on Friday (October 25, 2019) – the same day as the rapper’s new Jesus Is King documentary, which strips down Kanye’s popular weekly Sunday Service gospel events.

Appearing to confirm the news, West tweeted a photo of a blue vinyl copy of the album with the title and release date in the message: “JESUS IS KING OCT 25th.”

The rap star’s wife, Kim Kardashian West, originally stated the album would drop on September 27th – a year after the halted release of Kanye’s last album – but the new project didn’t appear. Instead, the rapper hosted several listening parties.

Jesus Is King will feature 13 gospel songs arranged by West and performed by his Sunday Service choir, as well as new music.
