In addition to shooting hoops, Karl Malone also shot for the stars by extending his entertainment career into the entertainment business. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "NBA All-Star Stay in School Jam" (1991-92), "NBA at 50" (TNT, 1996-97) and "48th NBA All-Star Game" (NBC, 1997-98). During the early stages of his Hollywood career, Malone mainly held acting roles in films like "Rockwell" (1994). In the nineties, Malone worked on predominantly television shows such as "The Tony Danza Show" (NBC, 1997-98) and "Brother's Keeper" (ABC, 1998-99). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "The Game on Showtime" (Showtime, 1998-99) and "The 2000 Miss Teen USA Pageant" (CBS, 1999-2000).
