Kate Bruce was a prolific actress who created a name for herself largely on the big screen. In the early stages of her acting career, Bruce was featured in films like "Judith of Bethulia" (1913) starring Blanche Sweet and "Intolerance" (1916) with Lillian Gish and Mae Marsh. Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like "The Microscope Mystery" (1916), "The Greatest Thing in Life" (1918) and the romance "True Heart Susie" (1919) with Lillian Gish. She also appeared in "Flying Pat" (1920). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in "Way Down East" (1921), the dramatic adaptation "Orphans of the Storm" (1922) with Lillian Gish and "The White Rose" (1923). Bruce last acted in "Ragtime" (1927).
