Whatever force controls the world just can’t seem to go a day without setting it’s attention on Katie Holmes. The 33-year-old actress and her 6-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise, were involved in a minor car accident in New York City on Monday night. A turning garbage truck struck Holmes’ Mercedes, bearing passengers Holmes and Suri (in addition to an unidentified driver), in midtown Manhattan shortly after the duo had left the Chelsea Piers Sports & Entertainment Complex, as reported by People. Thankfully, no parties involved were injured.
On Friday, June 13, Holmes underwent another accident, when a paparazzi vehicle collided with her car in proximity to the famous FAO Schwarz toy store, where Holmes and Suri had been paying a visit.
Regarding Monday’s incident, a source tells people that “Suri was crying in the car.” A police report was filed after Holmes and Suri were returned home safely.
