Biography

Beloved child actress Katie Wright started her entertainment career at the tender age of ten. Wright began her acting career with roles in sitcoms like "Boy Meets World" (ABC, 1993-2000), "Cafe Americain" (NBC, 1993-94) and "Harts of the West" (CBS, 1993-94). During the early stages of her acting career, Wright worked in films like "It's Pat" (1994) with Julia Sweeney. She also starred in the TV movies "A Friend's Betrayal" (1995-96), "A Secret Between Friends: A Moment of Truth Movie" (NBC, 1995-96) and "Abduction of Innocence: A Moment of Truth Movie" (NBC, 1996-97). She also appeared in "Detention: Siege at Johnson High" (ABC, 1996-97). She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Malibu Shores" (NBC, 1995-96). She also appeared in the Michael Wyle drama "God's Lonely Man" (1996). during these years Wright took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in "Hairshirt" (1998), the comedy "Idle Hands" (1999) with Devon Sawa and the thriller "The Sculptress" (2000) with Jeff Fahey. She held additional roles in television including a part on "Players" (NBC, 1997-98).
