For the first time since their divorce was finalized in July, Katy Perry and Russell Brand were spotted in the same public venue — they both took in the Lakers’ NBA season opener on Tuesday night.
According to E!, the two sat on opposite sides of the court and had zero interaction, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t highly aware of one another’s presence. You know how it is when you arrive at a friend’s party only to realize your ex is there, too — suddenly you have to simultaneously avoid the offending person and have the most fun ever. From the look of things, Perry (who attended the game with her dad, Keith Hudson), had those things on lock.
Now Katy just needs to show the Lakers how to finish.
