Keanu Reeves: ‘Money Is Meaningless’

Hollywood heartthrob Keanu Reeves insists money means nothing to him, and he is far more concerned about maintaining his good health.

Reeves is one of the movie industry’s highest earners after signing a profit percentage deal before starring in the Matrix trilogy, but he prefers to donate cash to charity and live simply.

He says, “Money doesn’t mean anything to me. I’ve made a lot of money but I want to enjoy life and not stress myself building my bank account.

“I give lots away and live simply, mostly out of a suitcase in hotels. We all know that good health is much more important.”

Reeves Spurns Computers

Old-fashioned Keanu Reeves has no interest in the technological revolution, and prefers writing letters by hand than firing off quick emails.

The Speed star only uses a computer when he visits friends hooked up to the web, and he insists a traditional letter is far more personal than a digital communication.

The 41-year-old says, “My friends have computers, so I can ask them to do something for me if I need to.

“Letters are something from you. It’s a different kind of intention than writing an e-mail.”
