Biography

Kent Broadhurst was an actor who graced the silver screen many times throughout his Hollywood career. Broadhurst started off his acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in "Brubaker" (1980), the dramatic adaptation "The Verdict" (1982) with Paul Newman and "Lovesick" (1983). He also appeared in "Silkwood" (1983) and "Silver Bullet" (1985) with Gary Busey. He also appeared in the TV movie "I Want to Live" (ABC, 1982-83). He continued to act in productions like "Stars & Bars" (1988) with Daniel Day-Lewis, the Michael Caine comedy "A Shock to the System" (1990) and the action film "Touch and Die" (1992) with Martin Sheen. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Seize the Day" (PBS, 1986-87). Recently, he tackled roles in the drama "Mac" (1993) with John Turturro, "The Dark Half" (1993) with Timothy Hutton and the comedy "A Couch in New York" (1997) with Juliette Binoche. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). Most recently, Broadhurst acted on "Person of Interest" (CBS, 2011-).
