Who else but pop star Lady Gaga comes to mind when you hear the word godmother? Oh sorry, not the fairy kind. But that is the person Elton John has once again chosen to be his child’s godmother.
After welcoming his second son, Elijah, into the world in January, the Rocket Man and his partner, David Furnish have given the godparent title to the Fame Monster — who is also the godmother to his two-and-a-half year-old son, Zachary. In an interview with Extra, the legendary rocker said about the singer (who he has already collaborated with professionally), “She’s a great role model. She’s young. She’s been a great godmother to Zachary.”
Plus, what’s a celebrity child without a famous godparent? Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s kids have Bono. Drew Barrymore‘s daughter has Steven Spielberg. And like the English singer/songwriter says, “We’re all bonkers in this businss, but we’re human beings at the same time.”
