Lana Del Rey’s Grammys look was last-minute mall purchase

Lana Del Rey was the thriftiest star on the Grammy Awards red carpet – her silver gown was a last-minute shopping mall purchase.

The singer stunned at Sunday’s (January 26, 2020) big event as she posed with boyfriend Sean Larkin and revealed her look was a budget buy.

“I had another dress and then my boyfriend and I were getting a belt for him at the mall and I saw this and I loved it, so this is a last-minute dress,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I tailored it.”

Unfortunately, the new Aidan Mattox gown didn’t bring Lana an awful lot of luck – she lost out on Album of the Year and Song of the Year to Billie Eilish.
