Leon Schlesinger was a producer who made a name for himself throughout Hollywood. Schlesinger was nominated for a Short Subject (Cartoon) Academy Award for "Wild Hare" in 1940. "Somewhere in Sonora" (1933), "The Man From Monterey" (1933) and "Tick Tock Tuckered" (1944). are a few of the projects where Schlesinger first began his work as a producerSchlesinger was nominated for a Short Subject (Cartoon) Academy Award for "Wild Hare" in 1940. Schlesinger was also credited in "The Road Runner Show" (1967-1972), "The Bugs Bunny Show" (CBS, 1975) and "Uncensored Cartoons" (1981). He also appeared in "Porky Pig in Hollywood" (1986), "Bugs 'n' Daffy" (WB, 1995-98) and "My Favorite Duck" (2008). Schlesinger was most recently credited in "To Duck... or Not to Duck" (2008). Schlesinger passed away in December 1949 at the age of 65.
