The former Dallas star, who played villainous Marta Del Sol in the revamp of the hit show, took to her Twitter.com page on Tuesday (20Nov12) to share her happy news with fans.
Varela posted a photo of herself cuddling the new arrival, writing, “Matteo V. Akoskin is finally in our arms! Thank you so much for all your greetings and blessings! I can’t answer all of them, but each has touched my heart. (In) love with my baby.”
Matteo is the first child for Varela and producer Lucas Akoskin.
