Actor Liam Dunn was widely known for his presence on the silver screen. In the early stages of his Hollywood career, Dunn acted in comedies like "Catch-22" (1970), "What's Up Doc?" (1972) with Barbra Streisand and Ryan O'Neal and "Charley and the Angel" (1973) with Fred MacMurray and Cloris Leachman. He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Captain Nice" (NBC, 1966-67). He continued to act in productions like the action flick "The Emperor of the North Pole" (1973) with Lee Marvin, the Tim Conway comedy "The World's Greatest Athlete" (1973) and the dramatic adaptation "Papillon" (1973) with Steve McQueen. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the comedy "Herbie Rides Again" (1974) with Helen Hayes, the Burt Reynolds musical "At Long Last Love" (1975) and "Silent Movie" (1976) with Mel Brooks. He also appeared in the comedy "Peeper" (1976) with Michael Caine. He also was featured in the TV movie "The Virginia Hill Story" (NBC, 1974-75). Dunn more recently appeared in "The Quinns" (ABC, 1976-77).
