The Old Town Road hitmaker teamed up with CBS This Morning for the early morning trip down memory lane as part of a sit-down interview with Gayle King that is scheduled to air on Tuesday (October 1, 2019).
The rapper was mobbed by fans as he walked the halls of Lithia Springs High School and joked, “It feels good being able to walk through the halls and not get in trouble for it.”
He also got to try out the principal’s chair and took selfies with fans.

The TV expose comes just days after Lil Nas X pulled out of a pair of weekend festivals to take some deserved time off after spending much of 2019 performing and promoting his break-out hit and the follow-up Panini.
