Lily Pons, a French-born actress, appeared in a variety of movies throughout her career. Debuting in roles such as "I Dream Too Much" (1935) and "That Girl From Paris" (1936) was where Pons began her career in film. Later, she tackled roles in "Hitting a New High" (1937), "Carnegie Hall" (1947) with Marsha Hunt and "Carnegie Hall at 100: A Place of Dreams" (1990-91). Toward the end of her career, Pons worked on "Great Moments in Opera" (1996-97). Pons' husband was Andre Kostelanetz. Lily Pons passed away in February 1976 at the age of 78.
