Biography

Actress Linda Powell appeared in a variety of films over the course of her Hollywood career. Powell kickstarted her acting career with roles in various dramas, such as "New York Undercover" (Fox, 1994-98). She also appeared in the TV movie "Blind Spot" (CBS, 1992-93). She also worked in film during these years, including roles in "Office Killer" (1997). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing in "The Astronaut's Wife" (1999), "The Best Man" (1999) and "I Think I Love My Wife" (2007) with Chris Rock. She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in the Sarah Jessica Parker dramatic adaptation "Spinning Into Butter" (2009), "Morning Glory" (2010) with Rachel McAdams and the Paul Giamatti comedy "All is Bright" (2013). She also worked in television during these years, including roles in "The Good Wife" (CBS, 2009-) and "Louie" (FX, 2009-2015). Most recently, Powell acted on "The Mysteries of Laura" (NBC, 2014-).
