It seems crazy to think that our favorite Parent Trap red-head Lindsay Lohan is turning 30 on Saturday, July 2nd. If you’re a ’90s kid then you lived for Lohan in Get a Clue, Life-Size and most importantly, Mean Girls. Unfortunately, life post-Mean Girls has been a bit rough for Lohan. Her personal struggles with addiction, her tumultuous relationships and bad behavior on film sets were constantly splashed across the media. However, in the past several years, the former child starlet has gotten back on track.

Recently, Lohan chatted with Vanity Fair about turning 30 and being happy. She said, “I feel great! Age is only a number, right? I have learned a lot over time. I am in a wonderful place in life and look forward to the near and far future and projects that I am working on.” Perhaps this has to do with her relocation from Los Angles to a more quiet life in London, or her rumored Russian millionaire fiancé Egor Tarabasov.

Though we’re all crossing our fingers for a follow up to Lohan’s  iconic single, “Rumors”, she told VF that the next decade in her life will be about, “Making more films, writing my book, starting my charity, working with children a lot. Maybe having some of my own soon—after I get some movies done, first.”

We’re all eager to see Lohan gracing our screens again, but it’s her upcoming book that has really peaked our interest. Though she doesn’t exactly have any “regrets”, Lohan did say there are some things she would have done differently in the past. She said, “I am very excited to share my personal experiences in life and how to overcome obstacles. I hope that my words will connect with those who need some guidance when [or] if they are in a tough place. I am grateful that I have a voice, which I can now feel comfortable using as a platform to let people know that we all have ups and downs in life, and we can all come up from the downs if we get in touch with our inner self and spiritual side.

We couldn’t have said this better ourselves.

Happy 30th birthday Lindsay Lohan, happiness looks fantastic on you!
