Country music veteran Little Jimmy Dickens is in a critical condition at a hospital in Tennessee. The Country Music Hall of Fame member, who turned 94 on 19 December (14), is battling an undisclosed illness, according to a statement from the Grand Ole Opry.
Dickens has been under the care of doctors since Christmas Day (25Dec14) and his family is asking fans to send their well wishes to the revered musician.
Last year (13), Dickens underwent radiation therapy to treat a pre-cancerous growth on his vocal cords.
