Lois DeBanzie was an actress who was no stranger to being featured in numerous film roles throughout her Hollywood career. DeBanzie started her acting career landing roles in films, such as the comedy "So Fine" (1981) with Ryan O'Neal, the musical "Annie" (1982) with Albert Finney and the Dustin Hoffman comedy "Tootsie" (1982). She also appeared in the action movie "Sudden Impact" (1983) with Clint Eastwood and "Mass Appeal" (1984). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "Newhart" (CBS, 1982-1990). She continued to act in productions like "Big Business" (1988) with Bette Midler and the action-packed comedy "Arachnophobia" (1990) with Jeff Daniels. She also starred in the TV movies "Scandal Sheet" (ABC, 1984-85) and "Amos" (CBS, 1985-86). During the latter half of her career, she tackled roles in "Addams Family Values" (1993) with Anjelica Huston and the Leslie Nielsen comedy sequel "Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult" (1994). She held additional roles in television including a part on "Bodies of Evidence" (CBS, 1991-93). She also had a part in the TV miniseries "Switched at Birth" (1990-91). DeBanzie more recently acted in the action picture "Dunston Checks In" (1996) with Jason Alexander.
