We’ve all had those days when you’ve cuddled under your covers listening to Adele‘s “Someone Like You” while weeping quietly to yourself. Everyone has done it, so you’ll get no judgement out of us. Still, it has been nearly five years since Adele blessed us with her stunning second album 21, and since then, we’ve been desperate to hear new music from the British soul singer. Though no official release date has been announced, it looks like we won’t have to wait too much longer for Adele’s new album. The usually reserved songstress took to her Facebook and Twitter to confirm that her new album is in fact called 25, something that has been speculated about FOREVER. She also gave fans some small hints about the tone of the album saying, “My last record was a break-up record, and if I had to label this one I’d call it a make-up record.”
Adele was also super sweet and apologized to fans about the album’s delay saying simply that “life happens.” Read the super adorable note below, and watch the “Someone Like You” video for nostalgia sake. It’s totally OK to shed a few tears, we promise not to tell.
