Disgraced music mogul Lou Pearlman died of heart issues, according to lawmakers in Florida.
The 62-year-old boy band svengali was awaiting heart surgery when he died on Friday (19Aug16).
According to the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s Office, the mastermind behind the Backstreet Boys and ‘N SYNC passed away at a Miami hospital, where he was scheduled for an operation.
The official cause of death is listed as natural causes, according to TMZ.
Pearlman was serving time behind bars on fraud charges at the time of his death.
