‘Mad Men’ Star Elisabeth Moss: Sexy Flasher in a Trenchcoat and Bra

Elisabeth Moss Page Six Sexy Bra PhotoWe know her as the naive secretary turned advertising ingénue on Mad Men, and while her character hasn’t always been known for her coy behavior, her wardrobe certainly screams proper 60s lady. But the actress behind our beloved Peggy, Elisabeth Moss, isn’t interested in sticking to pencil skirts and slick bouffants. She’s showing off her sexy side for Page Six Magazine.

Moss gets a little racy in nothing but a trench coat and black bra, but she’s very nonchalant about the photo that may surprise some fans. “People will be surprised. I don’t walk around in a Burberry trench coat and bra all the time, but it’s fun to embrace that part of yourself. I think every woman has a sexy, adventurous side,” she said.

But her wardrobe isn’t the only thing that’s working its way into bad girl territory. In the interview she offers up criticism of her ex-husband, SNL’s Fred Armisen, and notes that it’s probably going to bring some flack her way, but “sometimes you just want to be a bad girl for a minute.” Plus, the girl is single; what better time for a little rebellion? She also notes that this new life as an unattached eligible bachelorette is quite simply the best: “It’s fun to go out at night and not know what’s going to happen. I’m addicted and obsessed with my freedom in that sense. I’m having fun!”

While our little Peggy is out having a great time, don’t worry too much. She hasn’t forgotten the core of her Mad Men character – a woman who’s become a quasi feminist hero for many fans. Besides, as Moss sees it, the modern professional woman is all about balancing her two sides: the talented and the sexy. “As women in the workplace, we’re constantly trying to find a balance between being taken seriously and feeling sexy and good about ourselves…if you believe your ideas should be respected and if you believe you have a voice, then you’re a feminist,” she said.

Mad Men premieres March 25, but until then, we can take in Moss’ strong words about working women, feminism, and why it’s okay to be sexy sometimes. Do you agree with her?
