Biography

Despite being known for his breakout role on the short-lived ABC sitcom "Better Off Ted" (2009-2010), Malcolm Barrett has dabbled in sketch comedy, performed poetry at SLAM fests across the country, and started his own not-for-profit theater company. He even moonlights as a hip-hop artist, having written several songs for a debut album. It may seem like Barrett has kept himself busy entirely separate from his onscreen characters. However, since his professional acting career began in 2000, Barrett has guest-starred on over two dozen television shows and movies, most notably "The Sopranos" (HBO, 1999-2007) and "The Hurt Locker" (2009), making him a widely versatile entertainer that refuses to limit himself to any single form of entertainment.
