Biography

Actor Malcolm Goodwin paid his dues on television before moving on to feature-film roles. After guest spots on TV dramas such as "Law & Order" and "Hack," Goodwin appeared in Ridley Scott's crime epic "American Gangster" and the George Clooney-helmed football movie "Leatherheads" in 2008. Although parts in lesser-known productions followed, he eventually nabbed a major role as part of the ensemble cast of the 2011 A&E crime series "Breakout Kings," playing tough gang veteran Shea Daniels. Despite being well received by many viewers, the show, also starring Jimmi Simpson and Serinda Swan, was cancelled the following year, after a 23-episode run.
