Just as we were finishing up our vocal warmups in anticipation of jamming out to Mariah Carey‘s upcoming album The Art of Letting Go, we were informed that we now have more time to rehearse. The sexy songstress is pushing back the relase of her 11th album because she needs a wee bit more time to make sure her record is flawless, rather than just amazing. Carey felt too rushed with the production of the album, which was originally scheduled to debut July 23rd, so she’s decided to hit the pause button on its release.
Monday evening, Carey took to Twitter to share that, “While making this album, I got so immersed in the creative process that I just don’t feel I would be doing it justice to release it on 7/23.” She went on to disclose, “I’d rather not exclude meaningful songs. I want to give you this album as it’s meant to be heard. When I’m ready, you’ll be the first to know!”
Although it’s definitely a bummer that we have to wait to hear any new tunes from the Grammy Award-winning belter, at least the album will be fully crafted and up to Carey’s standards when it finally swoops into iTunes.

Mariah looks awfully sensual in her video for her most acclaimed track with her tousled hair and water dripping all over her. Eric Roberts shows up as her husband-to-be in a wedding scene that leaves her ex-lover in utter disarray.

The video stars Jack McBrayer of 30 Rock fame as a computer nerd fantasizing over touching MC’s bangin’ bod. Oh yeah, there’s a totally epic unicorn in the middle of the hilarious vid, too!
Heartbreaker
If the video itself doesn’t take you right back to the good ol’ days of middle school dances, Mariah’s butterfly clips certainly will.
Fantasy
In this cutesy vid of Mariah, we watch her glide on skates and sing sweet music as she throws her head back in joy on a rollercoaster at the amusement park.

I might be Jewish, but when the holiday season rolls around, I still love rocking out to everyone’s all-time favorite Christmas jam. And yes, all every guy wants for Christmas is you, Mariah! Nick Cannon, you Better watch out!
