Mark Blankfield worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. In the beginning of his acting career, Blankfield starred in comedies like "The Incredible Shrinking Woman" (1981) with Lily Tomlin, "Jekyll and Hyde... Together Again" (1982) with Mark Blankfield and the Edward Laurence Albert film "The Underachievers" (1987). He also appeared in "Angel III: The Final Chapter" (1988). He also starred in the TV movies "The Road Raiders" (1988-89) and "Jury Duty: The Comedy" (1989-1990). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Nutt House" (1989-1990). During these years, he additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in "Frankenstein General Hospital" (1988). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Jackie Collins' "Lady Boss"" (1992-93). He also appeared as Martin in the comedy "Dracula: Dead and Loving It" (1995) with Leslie Nielsen. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The John Larroquette Show" (1993-97). Blankfield also appeared in "Arrested Development."
