Mark Gantt is a film and television actor best known for creating and starring in the web series "The Bannen Way". Gantt's film work began with a variety of odd jobs. He was responsible for props in films like "Volcano", "City of Angels", "The Siege", and "Spider-Man". He was also a driver in Robert Rodriguez's "Desperado" and David O. Russell's "Flirting with Disaster". Gantt's first acting role was as a police officer in "Volcano", and he subsequently appeared as a demon in the hit fantasy series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", starring Sarah Michelle Gellar. In Steven Soderbergh's "Ocean's Eleven", Gantt played a bartender and later made appearances in the soap opera "Days of Our Lives" and "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle". In 2010, Gantt and his collaborator Jesse Warren created the web series "The Bannen Way". In the series, he stars as Neal Bannen, a criminal caught up with the mob but trying to turn straight. The show won four Streamy Awards, including Best Actor and Best Drama, and was nominated for two Webby Awards. Outside of acting, Gantt has also directed the short films "Martine" and "Donor" as well as episodes of the series "Suite 7", on which he's served as producer. In 2011, Gantt played Sergei Lenov in the series "Leap Year", appeared in Showtime's black comedy "Dexter", and had a recurring role in the science fiction series "Once Upon".
