Mark Salling arrested for possession of child pornography

Former Glee star Mark Salling has been arrested for possession of child pornography.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force unit arrived at the actor’s home in Sunland, California on Tuesday (29Dec15) to carry out a search warrant, and he was subsequently arrested, according to CrimeWatchDaily.com.
“He was taken into custody this morning for possession of child porn,” Officer Aaron Jefferson from the LAPD confirms to People.com.
Representatives for the 33 year old had yet to comment on the news as WENN went to press.
The arrest comes less than a year after Salling reached a $2.7 million (£1.8 million) settlement with Playboy pin-up Roxanne Gorzela, after she sued the star in 2013 amid allegations of sexual battery.
In her lawsuit, Gorzela claimed the TV star had refused to wear a condom during a consensual sex session in 2011, and when she confronted him days later and expressed concern that she had contracted a sexually-transmitted disease from him, he allegedly shoved her to the ground, causing bruising on her knees.
Salling denied the accusations, insisting he acted in self-defence after being attacked, but the former lovers reached an agreement in March (15), when the actor confessed to negligently causing his ex to fall and injure herself during the dispute.
