Marvin Miller worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Miller started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Johnny Angel" (1945), the Warner Baxter horror flick "Just Before Dawn" (1946) and the Susan Hayward mystery "Deadline at Dawn" (1946). He also appeared in "The Phantom Thief" (1946) with Chester Morris, the romantic fantasy "A Night in Paradise" (1946) with Merle Oberon and "Dead Reckoning" (1947). In the fifties and the seventies, Miller devoted his time to various credits, such as "Senior Prom" (1959), "Good Neighbor Sam" with Jack Lemmon (1964), "King Rat" (1965) starring George Segal and "Where Does It Hurt?" with Peter Sellers (1972). Miller was nominated for an Outstanding Comedy Series Primetime Emmy Award for "The Bill Cosby Show" in 1970 as well as for an Outstanding New Series Primetime Emmy Award for "The Bill Cosby Show" in 1970. In the eighties through the early 2000s, Miller lent his talents to projects like "Swing Shift" (1984), "Creator" (1985) starring Peter O'Toole, "Summer Rental" with John Candy (1985), "Bert Rigby, You're a Fool" (1989) and "30 for 30" (ESPN Network, 2009-2014). Miller most recently appeared in "The Curious Case of Curt Flood" (2010-11).
