Biography

Mary Servoss was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Servoss kickstarted her acting career in various films such as "The Lone Wolf Keeps a Date" (1940), the Bette Davis drama "In This Our Life" (1942) and the drama "So Proudly We Hail" (1943) with Claudette Colbert. She also appeared in the Hedy Lamarr mystery "Experiment Perilous" (1944). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the forties, appearing in "Four Jills in a Jeep" (1944) with Kay Francis, the Greer Garson drama "Mrs. Parkington" (1944) and "Summer Storm" (1944). She also appeared in the action flick "Uncertain Glory" (1944) with Errol Flynn. Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in "Youth Runs Wild" (1944), "Conflict" (1945) and "My Reputation" (1946). Servoss last acted in "Beyond the Forest" (1949) with Bette Davis. Servoss passed away in November 1968 at the age of 87.
