Biography

Mary Servoss worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Servoss' early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "The Lone Wolf Keeps a Date" (1940), the drama "In This Our Life" (1942) with Bette Davis and the Claudette Colbert drama "So Proudly We Hail" (1943). She also appeared in the Hedy Lamarr mystery "Experiment Perilous" (1944). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the forties, appearing in "Four Jills in a Jeep" (1944), the drama "Mrs. Parkington" (1944) with Greer Garson and "Summer Storm" (1944) with George Sanders. She also appeared in the action flick "Uncertain Glory" (1944) with Errol Flynn. Toward the end of her career, she continued to act in "Youth Runs Wild" (1944), the Humphrey Bogart crime picture "Conflict" (1945) and "My Reputation" (1946). Servoss last acted in "Beyond the Forest" (1949) with Bette Davis.
