Matthew Marsh's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. Marsh began his acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the Alexei Sayle comedy "Didn't You Kill My Brother?" (1987), the spy thriller "The Fourth Protocol" (1987) with Michael Caine and the Patrick Bergin adventure "Mountains of the Moon" (1990). He also appeared in "Alambrado" (1991) with Jacqueline Lustig and the thriller "Diamond Skulls" (1991) with Gabriel Byrne. He continued to act in productions like the thriller "Dirty Weekend" (1997) with Lia Williams, "Spy Game" (2001) and "Bad Company" (2002) with Anthony Hopkins. He also appeared in the suspenseful mystery "Miranda" (2003) with Christina Ricci. More recently, he tackled roles in "An American Haunting" (2006) with Rachel Hurd-Wood, the Meryl Streep biographical drama "The Iron Lady" (2011) and the Terrence Howard action picture "Red Tails" (2012). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Luther" (BBC, 2010-). Marsh most recently acted on "Capital" (BBC 1, 2015-).
