Actor-musician Mayf Nutter made a splash in Hollywood both on and off-screen. He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Murder, She Wrote" (CBS, 1984-1996). He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "The Macahans" (ABC, 1975-76) and "The $5.20 an Hour Dream" (CBS, 1979-1980). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Night of the Running Man" (HBO, 1994-95). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the drama "The Stone Boy" (1984) with Robert Duvall and the action picture "Hunter's Blood" (1987) with Sam Bottoms.
