Michael Jackson’s alligators killed in Tiger King zoo fire

Two of Michael Jackson‘s pet alligators were killed in a fire at the zoo owned by Tiger King Joe Exotic, according to his former partner.

The flamboyant Oklahoma big cat owner, who is currently serving time behind bars, has become a big name thanks to the new Netflix docuseries Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness, which charts how he was arrested over a murder-for-hire plot.

And now his sidekick John Finlay has confirmed a 2015 Los Angeles Times story, which links the zoo to the late King of Pop.

“One of the previous managers had gotten us Michael Jackson’s alligators from Neverland Ranch,” Finlay said during an appearance on comedian David Spade‘s late-night TV show Lights Out With David Spade.

He explained a 2015 fire destroyed the crocodile enclosure and Joe Exotic accused his rival, animal rights activist Carole Baskin, of paying to start the blaze.

Joe Exotic’s zoo also had ties to Britney Spears – Tiger King star Doc Antle featured in the pop star’s performance of Slave 4 U at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards.
