Actor Michael Medeiros was widely known for his presence on the silver screen. Medeiros began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as "New York Nights" (1982) with George Ayer, "Alone in the Dark" (1982) with Jack Palance and the Peter Weller action movie "Shakedown" (1988). He also appeared in the TV movie "Jacobo Timerman: Prisoner Without a Name, Cell Without a Number" (NBC, 1982-83). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Texas" (NBC, 1979-1983). He kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in the Peter Weller action flick "Robocop 2" (1990), the Peter Scolari horror movie "Ticks" (1993) and the Peter Weller thriller "Sunset Grill" (1993). He also appeared in "Sometime in August" (1999). More recently, he continued to act in "Brothers In Arms: The Story of the Crew of Patrol Craft Fast 94" (2004), "Margot at the Wedding" (2007) and the dramedy "Synecdoche, New York" (2008) with Philip Seymour Hoffman. He also appeared in the James McAvoy box office smash action picture "X-Men: First Class" (2011). He held additional roles in television including a part on "The Good Wife" (CBS, 2009-). Most recently, Medeiros directed the comedy "Tiger Lily Road" (2014) with Ilvi Dulack.
