Biography

Actor Michael Percival appeared on the big screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Known for making audiences laugh, Percival began his acting career in comedies like "Clockwise" (1986) with John Cleese and Alison Steadman and the John Cleese film "A Fish Called Wanda" (1988). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "The Last Enemy" (PBS, 1989-1990) and "Adam Bede" (PBS, 1991). His film career continued throughout the nineties in productions like the comedy "Drowning By Numbers" (1991) with Joan Plowright, the Glenn Close smash hit comedic adventure "101 Dalmatians" (1996) and the comedy sequel "Fierce Creatures" (1997) with John Cleese. He also appeared in the TV special "The Sculptress" (PBS, 1997-98). Percival continued to exercise his talent in the nineties through the 2010s, taking on a mix of projects like "Baby Geniuses" with Kathleen Turner (1999), "Doctor Who" (BBC, 2004-) and "Creature Comforts (BBCA)" (BBC, 2005-06). His credits also expanded to "Creature Comforts" "The League" (FX, 2009-) and "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" (Bravo, 2010-). Most recently, Percival worked on the Marlon Wayans comedy "Fifty Shades of Black" (2016).
