The actor, who starred in American TV hits V and Oz, was reportedly trying to park his Rolls Royce in Manhattan when he hit a patrol car with two cops sitting inside.
According to TMZ.com, Wright was asked to take a field sobriety test after cops detected the smell of alcohol.
He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and taken into custody.
