Molly Weir worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Weir began her career with roles in "Value For Money" (1955), the musical "Let's Be Happy" (1957) with Tony Martin, and "Carry on Regardless" (1963) with Sidney James. Weir made film her next project, appearing in "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie" (1969), the drama "Scrooge" (1970) with Albert Finney and the Eric Porter horror film "Hands of the Ripper" (1971). She also appeared in the Helen Hayes comedy "One of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing" (1975) and "Mr. Selkie" (1979). Weir also acted in "Captain Jack."
