Monie Love captured the mood and feel of a variety of films through her incredible music. Love worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Boyz N The Hood" (1991) and "In Living Color" (Fox, 1989-1994). Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like the comedy "Who's the Man?" (1993) with Dr. Dre. She also appeared in the TV special "Growing Up in the Age of AIDS: An ABC News Town Meeting For the Family -- With Peter Jennings" (1991-92). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Strapped" (1992-93). Love also created music for the Christopher "Kid" Reid comedy "Class Act" (1992).
