The pair never spoke about the rumours they were dating and the Taylors have since split, but at least Garry Marshall can confirm they were once an item – and they sealed their romance with a kiss on camera.
He veteran moviemaker says, “I always start with the kissing scenes. The first thing they did was kiss.”
And he admits the couple, who play young lovers in the star-studded movie, seemed to like locking lips: “The first three (kisses) were nice. By the fourth I think they started going together. I don’t know what the hell happened, but somewhere in the fifth or sixth take they were dating.”
