In 1975, she began ice skating at age six at the local rink in her hometown of Stoneham, MA. In 1992, she won the bronze medal at the Winter Olympic Games in Albertville, France. In 1994, she was portrayed by Heather Langenkamp in the NBC movie "Tonya & Nancy: The Inside Story." In 1996, she played the White Queen in "Fairy Tales on Ice: Alice Through the Looking Glass." In 2004, she was inducted into the United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame. She appeared in a number of television specials, including "An Evening of Championship Skating" (1988-89), "U.S. Figure Skating Championships" (ABC, 1991-92) and "Share a Moment With the World" (CBS, 1991-92). She also appeared in "Disney's Christmas Fantasy on Ice" (1992-93), "Nancy Kerrigan & Friends" (CBS, 1993-94) and "Walt Disney World Happy Easter Parade" (ABC, 1993-94). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Ice Wars: The U.S.A. Vs. the World" (1994-95), "The Walt Disney World Very Merry Christmas Parade" (ABC, 1994-95) and "Fox's Rock n' Roll Skating Championships" (Fox, 1994-95). Additionally, she could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Elvis on Ice" (1997-98), "The 47th Miss USA Pageant" (CBS, 1997-98) and "Campbell's Soups Champions on Ice" (ABC, 1997-98). She also appeared in "Brian Boitano's Skate Against Hate" (USA, 1998-99). Most recently, Kerrigan acted in the Will Ferrell smash hit sports comedy "Blades of Glory" (2007). Kerrigan's husband was Jerry Solomon and Kerrigan had three children.
