Troubled supermodel Naomi Campbell has been released on police bail following her arrest for an alleged assault of her drugs counselor.
The English beauty, 36, was arrested yesterday afternoon after allegedly scratching her female therapist at a residence in Westminster, central London.
A police spokeswoman said Campbell had not been officially charged, but “has been bailed to return to a London police station on a later date in October.”
The model’s spokesman insists Campbell is innocent, saying, “We believe there has been a misunderstanding. We are sure it will all be sorted out when the police investigate.”
Campbell is currently fighting three legal battles with former employees, who all claim the model assaulted them.
