Natalie Portman is the hot favorite to land this year’s Sexiest Vegetarian title as animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) launches its annual poll.
Veggies around the globe are being asked to pick their favorite meat-free hunks and vixens and vote online at PETA.org.
Results will be announced at the end of next month.
The Star Wars actress admits she’s thrilled to be leading the race for the World’s Sexiest Vegetarian.
She says, “I am a very strict vegetarian. I just really, really love animals and I act on my values.”
Portman has a narrow lead over other contenders, according to PETA–officials expect Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan, Tobey Maguire and Joaquin Phoenix to feature high on the polls.
