NEEDTOBREATHE’s Texas gig cancelled

Christian rockers NEEDTOBREATHE have cancelled a gig scheduled for Friday (21Oct16) in Abilene,Texas.
The band were due to play the city’s Taylor County Expo Center as the headline act on their Tour De Compadres, an annual trek around North America where they play alongside other top Christian artists.
However on Monday (17Oct16) it was announced that the Texas gig would no longer be going ahead.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances on October 21, the TOUR DE COMPADRES show to take place in Abilene, TX at Taylor County Expo Center has been cancelled,” a message on the venue’s website reads.
“Tickets will be refunded in full at the point of purchase. We always hate cancelling shows, and on behalf of all the Compadres out on the road with us, we’re looking forward to coming back to Abilene soon.”
The Tour De Compadres continues at the Revention Music Center in Houston, Texas on Tuesday (18Oct16).
Tour De Compadres was founded in 2015. Acts performing on this year’s (16) tour include Matt Kearney and Parachute.
