Movie moguls Neil Meron and Craig Zadan have been invited to take charge of the Oscars for a second year. The two men teamed up to produce this year’s (13) Academy Awards and they have signed on to return for 2014’s big night, which will be staged on 2 March.
In a joint statement, Zadan and Meron write, “We are very honored to have been asked to return as Oscar producers for a second year. We look forward to creating a distinctive and entertaining show.”
Last year (12), the producers asked Seth MacFarlane to host the Oscars. The comedian, singer and animator has made it clear he won’t be returning in 2014. Zadan and Meron are expected to announce a new host in the coming months.
