Rapper/new dad Jay-Z has released a brand-new promo for Rocawear — the first ever for the clothing company he co-founded.
The new spot features a retrospective starting with his journey as a kid growing in the projects of Brooklyn with dreams of making music history — all while present-day Jay discusses his rise via voice-over: “My goal was to have one gold album and that was it. And then it became, I want to show that an artist can ascend to the executive ranks.”
That ambition and ethos have helped Rocawear maintain its position as the No. 1 brand in its space for more than a decade, prompting Jay-Z to add: “Rocawear just keeps reinventing itself and redefining itself every single day.” Check out the video below!
