Niall Horan has his eyes set on pulling pints as he reveals plans to open a bar.

The former One Direction star is gearing up to release his second solo album, but is also keen to invest his time and money in a side gig – with a drinking establishment right at the top of the singer’s list of priorities.

“I still want to conquer music. I don’t know what else I want to do. I’d like to have a bar – but maybe more like a pub would be good,” he told Britain’s The Sun newspaper. “Finding someone to run it in my absence would be a bit dodgy.

“But I do enjoy a good pint of Guinness so if I could get that pump to work I wouldn’t mind,” the Nice To Meet Ya star mused.

Stars including Ed Sheeran and Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall have also launched similar ventures in the U.K. in recent months; Ed opened his pub Bertie Blossoms in west London, while Jade launched her bar Red Door in her hometown of South Shields, Newcastle.

Meanwhile, the Slow Hands star is perfecting the final tracks for his upcoming release, and revealed he wants to add a duet to round off the collection.

After recently admitting he’s been in the studio with Lewis Capaldi – who will support him on tour next year (2020) – and claiming he’d like to work with Selena Gomez, he added: “I’m working on one at the minute and if that comes off it’s going to be a really good one. It’s the perfect tune for it.”
